About us.

Guitar Furniture products are different from those made by any other accessory company. Our design philosophy is centered around three principles:

We believe the best products are intelligently designed, well made, and attractive to the eye. Combine these three factors, and the results are products that are practical, durable, and a pleasure to use as well as to own.

Most commercial products are, frankly, a study in compromise. They often don't use the best materials or the most effective designs due to cost considerations. Not us. We set out to build the best products money can buy. We think we've achieved our goal. Our products will never be the cheapest, nor will you ever see us come out with a cheaply-made or shoddy product, just to make a buck. When you see our name on your product, you can rest assured that our name is your assurance of a product that is the best-of-breed.

About me.

I'm a fifth-generation musician and a graphic artist by trade, but I grew up working with wood in my father's workshop. (Kind of a risky hobby for a musician, working with power tools, but still...) I learned from a very early age to appreciate the beauty, strength, and character of wood. As I learned to play the guitar, it was a natural transition for me to become a guitar tech, doing everything from inlays to fret jobs.

BradFast-forward to 2008, when I found myself playing multiple instruments in an acoustic guitar group. It quickly became apparent that we had a space problem - too many guitar stands taking up way too much real estate on a cramped bandstand. I went shopping for a guitar rack, but what I found left me underwhelmed - overpriced, underbuilt, and downright ugly. I couldn't see spending that kind of money for something that was ugly and wouldn't stand up to the rigors of one-nighters. I believed I could use my skills in design and woodworking to create something that would be far more durable and functional, as well as beautiful and portable. As I began to sketch out ideas, I realized I was on to something good. After I built the first stand, every guitarist that saw it, wanted it. I soon realized that I would never be able to keep up with the demand, making them one at a time. I was fortunate to count as a friend the owner of a commercial millwork. With his professional shop, we're able to improve the stands, trading the 'charm' of handmade joints for the precision of professional, handmade craftsmanship. Oh, and by using our millwork, we can also make them for a much more reasonable price.

It's not enough to simply design something on paper. The only way to know for sure that your design is practical for working musicians is to test it under "real world" conditions. Since I'm a working, professional musician, I have the opportunity to use our products on a regular basis. I personally test each design for durability, functionality, and practicality. We won't sell anything that doesn't pass the standards of a working musician. And as an artist and designer, I make sure every product we sell is as beautiful as it is functional. Our philosophy is to build fine, handmade furniture for your guitar. Nothing less will do.

I believe that when you sell something, you must stand behind it. That's why we offer both a money-back guarantee, and a lifetime replacement policy (see our warranty page for details). But I'd like to go one step further. Want to talk about our products? Have a question? A suggestion? A concern? Let's talk. eMail me at bkozak@guitarfurniture.com. Forget some P.R. flak or support guy - you'll get a response from me, personally.

Whether you're a collector of fine instruments, a working pro, a studio musician, or just somebody that wants a really cool way to hold and display your instruments, we hope you'll see the value in our products, and try them for yourself.

GuitarFurniture...fine furniture for your guitar.
